ABOUT
Craft Pub Social Club is helping women take up some more space in the (craft) pub scene in Brighton and Hove.
It's not that women aren't already welcome in these spaces but they do tend to be designed for men, and populated by them. So it can be pretty hard to meet new (female) friends who also enjoy a good pub.
Our monthly meet-ups are open to anyone to join. Each meet-up involves some kind of activity, alongside, or followed by, a pint in a good pub. (Drinking is of course entirely optional!)
Follow us on Instagram or Eventbrite to hear about our upcoming events.

FAQ.
Why just women*?
This isn't about being anti-men, men are great! But sometimes it’s nice to hang with a girl gang and it can be really hard finding friends in a city of 300K. Pubs tend to be pretty male-dominant, and that sucks, so we’re here to take up some space.
Are events really free?
Yep!
We might have future events that have a small ticket fee to cover costs. The aim is to have at least one event each month that is free to attend. You will have to buy your own drinks/food (and we ask that you do buy something to support the host venues), but where possible attendance won't have a price tag.
Why do I need a ticket?
Spaces are limited depending on the venue/ event. If an event is booked up drop us a line and we'll let you know if we can increase the space or if anyone cancels.
Is Craft Pub Social Club a business?
Nope. It’s just for fun! If you’d like to contribute to our running costs (web hosting, advertising etc you can do this via a donation when registering for tickets on Eventbrite). All donations are very much appreciated, no matter how small!
Sounds boozy… do I have to drink (beer)?
Absolutely not! Moderation is very much encouraged, and there are some cracking low/no alcohol beers around these days! We’re organising events around pubs because they are great local community spaces to hang out, not so we can get on the lash and wake up full of regret. All venues will have more than beer available.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes - we’re keeping these events to strictly over 18’s as there will be alcohol available at most events.
If you're lucky to look young enough, please make sure you bring I.D.
*By 'woman'/'women' we mean ALL women. CPSC is for all our sisters!
We do our best to use inclusive language, but if you think we can do better please reach out!
